The Acropolis Museum
The Acropolis Museum, founded in 2003, is an archaeological museum focused on the findings of Acropolis of Athens. It houses every artifact found in Greece ranging from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. The Organisation for the Construction of the new museum is chaired by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Professor Emeritus of Archaeology, Dimitrios Pandermalis.
The Parthenon
The Parthenon is archaeoastronomically aligned to the Hyades and was used as a treasury. In 1806, Thomas Bruce, removed some of the surviving sculptures, with the Ottoman Turks’ permission. These sculptures were sold in 1816 to the British Museum in London. Since 1983, the Greek government has been trying to the return of the sculptures to Greece.
The Temple of Olympian Zeus
Also known as the Olympieion,The Temple of Olympian Zeus, is a ruined temple in the centre of Athens. The temple was built as a tribute to Zeus, king of the Olympian gods. The worl began in the 6th century BC but it was not completed until the 2nd century AD some 638 years after the project began. it was renowned as the largest temple in Greece and housed one of the largest cult statues in the ancient world.
The Temple of Hephaestus
The Temple of Hephaestus is a well-preserved Greek temple; it remains standing largely as built. It is also known as the Hephaisteion or earlier as the Theseion.From the 7th century until 1834, it served as the Greek Orthodox church of St. George Akamates.

The Theatre of Dionysus Eleuthereus is a major open-air theatre used for festivals of Dionysus. It is sometimes confused Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
