What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?

Hey, it’s been a although, hasn’t it? I never feel I’ve penned a weblog write-up in a calendar year or so. I hope you’re all performing properly in these ridiculous occasions. As often, thanks for studying.

I have a problem: What is your favored U.S. Nationwide Park?

Above the previous two decades, I have fallen in enjoy with them.

In advance of the pandemic, I had only frequented a handful of them, primarily by incident. But when the pandemic hit, and it was harmless sufficient to highway-trip, I drove all all over the region traveling to them.

Now I’ve noticed 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.

First, there was Redwood Nationwide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling views of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, dwelling to some of the best national parks in the state: I frequented Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Just after Utah, I visited Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Scorching Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is the place I live now.

Then there was Big Bend, Texas. The night time sky is amazing there! You can see so numerous stars.

Followed by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…

And most recently, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even noticed mountain goats.

I sense so lucky that I’ve gotten to see so a great deal of our wonderful place in the earlier few many years.

When I was young, I focused solely on worldwide journey (this site isn’t known as Ashley Overseas for nothin’). But over the previous two yrs, I’m content to report that I’ve acquired a newfound appreciation for my have yard.

It turns out you really don’t have to fly halfway all around the environment to go on an adventure.

As for my favorite? It’s a two-way tie involving Redwood and Huge Bend.
